Candy Kempel

Candy Kempel, 57, Casselton, ND passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND

Candyce Kempel was born Nov. 13, 1966 in Fargo, ND to Ferdinand and Ina (Schossow) Kempel. She graduated from Chaffee High School and Joseph’s School of Hair Design. She worked as a hairdresser for a short time. She worked at Microsoft in Fargo, Petro Service in Casselton and a Gordy’s Inc. in Casselton until her health didn’t allow.

She loved to crochet and watch Hallmark movies. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. She cherished family gatherings and holidays and was often found at the Central Cass School watching her kids activities, volunteering and attending functions.

She is survived by children, Isaac Williams and Jocelyn Williams; brother, Rick Kempel of Forman, ND; niece, Jera Kempel and two great nieces, Cayda and Johanna; along with her cousins.

Candy was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 2 PM at St. Peter Lutheran Church, rural Leonard with visitation one hour prior. (the service will be recorded and uploaded here to the website)

Burial: Watson Cemetery, rural Leonard, ND.
